For us at the Safety group, it is a matter of course that Safety and Security always come first. All our activities at Safetygruppen are carefully quality-assured and developed to deliver the best and most educational training. Safetygruppen is a comprehensive supplier of safety courses for shipping and was the first of all trainers in 2012 to be approved by the Swedish Transport Agency to train in STCW Manilla. We focus on safety courses for the larger shipping industry. The business is based at Stockholm Training Port, Frihamnen, in central Stockholm, but training is also delivered at various locations throughout Sweden, from Kalix in the north to Gothenburg in the south. The owner of the company has a background as a naval officer with experience from maritime rescue and the rescue service. All instructors have extensive experience from shipping with excellence in various specific areas. The Safety Group is quality-certified by the Swedish Transport Agency and all the training the Safety Group conducts is conducted according to our quality standard system. The system's task is to ensure that the implementation of training meets a set quality level and that development takes place according to a set process. Today, 14 full-time employees work on board Stockholm Training Port with everything from course administration to guiding you through your course. Our instructors have solid experience from healthcare, shipping and firefighting.
